Amendments 11-26
These amendments educate Americans on their freedoms of taking part in government and improves the government's processes.
These amendments make a great deal about voting in new senators and presidents, and allows more of the public to vote. The senatorial election has been adjusted by indicating that when vacancies happen, the State's executive authority of the vacancy will issue a writs of election to fill the vacancies. The presidential election has been adjusted by having the terms limited to two, stating that if the president resigns or dies, the vice president will fulfill the duties of the president, and declaring that D.C. has a vote for the President. These amendments give voting rights to blacks and women, and change the voting age to 18.
These amendments illustrate that citizens voting for their leaders is a very important responsibility.
